How to make Christmas more fun for your dog

The flickering flame of the first candle on the Advent wreath has announced the start of a magical and joyful season. Christmas is a favourite time of year for most of us. Get into the Christmas spirit with us! We'll advise you on how to enjoy the festive season with your dog, how to make the wait for Christmas more fun for them and, of course, there are great gift tips that will surely put a smile on your face and your four-legged darling's!

Treat your buddy to dog Christmas biscuits and cookies
We bake Christmas biscuits, decorate gingerbread, the scent of Christmas fills the whole house and we can't wait to taste the first piece. And not only us – our canine buddy is excited too, watching everything from a distance. They probably imagine we're making fragrant goodies for them as well. We know traditional Christmas biscuits aren't suitable for dogs and we have to be careful they don't eat any and end up with health problems. An excellent solution is to bake special homemade dog biscuits and cookies for your dog. Your pet will surely be delighted! Dogs adore them and you'll have peace of mind that your buddy can enjoy their own Christmas nibbles.

Give your dog an exceptional Christmas Eve dinner

If you want to give your dog something special on Christmas Eve, you can prepare something they don't usually get.

If your dog is one of those who react to every slight change in their diet and then suffer from digestive problems, it's better to give them a dinner that doesn't usually cause them any trouble. If they're used to kibble, you can enrich it with a drop of fish or flaxseed oil. Your furry friend will still enjoy it, with a happy, ache-free tummy as a bonus. For dogs that handle changes in diet without problems, try serving high-quality canned meat for dogs or food in the form of BARF. You can use fish raw or steamed; we recommend thoroughly deboning it or carefully blending it. You can use carp, salmon, trout, etc. The fish can also be replaced with raw or stewed meat. No dog can resist venison or turkey like that (if using raw meat, freezing it first is recommended). Finally, add a suitable portion of a side, ideally something your dog loves, and drizzle everything with oil (flaxseed or fish). You'll see your furry friend licking their lips!

Give your furry friend a unique and original gift

Under the Christmas tree, don't forget a cute gift for your canine friend. Choose the right one and let them enjoy a lovely Christmas too. Wrap the gift for your dog and let them experience the joy of unwrapping. That's the most fun of all! If you still don't know how to delight your pet, get inspired by our selection.
