The key parts of the collar are made of a waterproof strap with a PVC surface. It doesn't soak up water, doesn't absorb odours or bacteria and, compared with ordinary textile straps, stretches and wears far less.

We had its safety and strength verified in a certified laboratory, so we know it's suitable for long-term contact with your dog's coat and skin — and we also know its exact load limits.

The main part of the collar is made of a high-strength rPET strap from recycled PET bottles. We used recycled material where it makes sense, without compromising on strength, comfort or durability.

The buckle and other metal parts are made of solid brass. Brass doesn't rust, doesn't crack in frost like cheaper alloys and has no surface coating that could start peeling off over time. Rain, mud and salt water don't bother it.

Over time it naturally darkens and develops a patina. That's not damage but a property of the material itself. If you prefer the original golden shine, just polish it now and then with a brass cleaner.
